Licensed Behavior Analyst
Laurie is a Licensed Behavior Analyst and Mobile Therapist who has worked in the mental health field for over 15 years across a variety of settings. She specializes in treating children with Autism Spectrum Disorder as well as providing Individual Therapy to children, adolescents and young adults with a variety of mental health disorders. Laurie works closely with clients and their families in addressing mental health concerns. She provides treatment to individuals with a wide range of emotional, neurodevelopmental and behavioral disorders including: depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, OCD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, language and learning disorders, mood disorders, conduct disorders and oppositional defiant disorders.
Laurie has spent years studying behavior and provides services such as; Individual Therapy, BHRS/wraparound, Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS), Family and School Based Mental Health Services to clients. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Education. Soon after graduating with her Master’s Degree, Laurie earned her Behavior Specialist Licensure from the Pennsylvania State Board of Medicine. She uses a vast array of therapeutic modalities in providing treatment to her clients which include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy, Systemic Family Therapy, Applied Behavioral Analysis, Child Centered Play Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Mindfulness and Solution Focused Therapy.
Laurie’s therapeutic goal for her clients is to help them to overcome their challenges and lead better lives. She loves the work she does and greatly enjoys helping others find solutions to their problems and to reduce the suffering or distress they are experiencing. Whether it’s to manage stress better, improve relationships with others, or to improve your relationship with yourself she will work on it with you.
